How to Create a New Site in SGEN
This procedure provisions a new SGEN site from SG-Dashboard. The site is created against an active subscription and returns you to Site Manager with the next setup actions available.
Before you start
Make sure all of the following are true before you begin:
Where to go
You can start site creation from either route below. Both are valid.
Log in to SG-Dashboard, open Dashboard, then click Create New Site in Quick Actions.
Log in to SG-Dashboard, open Site Manager, then click + Add Site.
Steps
Follow the create-site flow in this order.
Use Dashboard → Quick Actions → Create New Site or Site Manager → + Add Site.
If SGEN has already confirmed available site capacity, the create-site modal opens directly.
Enter the Domain and Business Name. The domain should be the real production domain you intend to use.
Review both fields carefully, click Create Site, and wait for SGEN to complete provisioning.
On success, SGEN shows the message Tenant created successfully for site (domain).
After the success message, SGEN redirects you back to Site Manager so you can continue setup on the new site card.
What success looks like
A successful site creation has all of the following outcomes:
What to do if it does not work
Use the correct response for the state you are in.
The account does not have an active subscription or does not have remaining site capacity. Add a subscription or add site capacity first.
Review the domain entry, check whether the domain is invalid or already exists, and retry once with the correct domain. If the same failure persists, contact support.
This is not the same as a failed creation. Continue setup in staging, complete the domain step, and wait for DNS propagation and certificate provisioning to finish.
