Native PDF Reports Are Now Available
May 1, 2026
SGEN now ships server-side PDF reporting as a built-in part of the platform. Teams can generate a packaged, portable summary of site-level reporting data without installing a plugin, paying a plugin tax, or depending on a third-party tool that lags every core upgrade.
What is now available
PDF export is now part of the reporting workflow inside SGEN. From the site-manager reporting panel, teams can generate a packaged output when they need a more portable summary — one that can be reviewed in-browser, downloaded, or shared outside the platform. The report renders server-side, so the output is consistent regardless of browser or display settings.
Why it matters
In a typical CMS stack, PDF export is a third-party plugin. That plugin lags every core upgrade, carries its own licensing cost, and introduces a dependency outside your control. SGEN handles this at the platform level — conflict-free, no add-on required.
A third-party plugin handles rendering. It lags core upgrades, adds its own cost, and breaks when the platform updates underneath it.
SGEN renders the PDF server-side from the report layer. No plugin to install, no separate license, no compatibility gap to manage.
Where it fits
PDF reporting is part of the site-manager surface inside SG-Dashboard. It is available for any site in your account. This fits the broader SGEN approach of keeping operational reporting closer to the platform — the reporting workflow does not leave the dashboard to produce a usable output.

Server-side rendered PDF of site-level reporting data. Consistent output regardless of browser or local display settings.
Available on all plans that include site-level reporting. No separate activation needed — the feature is live for existing accounts.
