How to Generate Your First Report in SGEN

This procedure generates the first report from SG-Dashboard once site creation, integrations, and location setup are in place.

Before you start

Complete the dashboard onboarding sequence in order before expecting the reporting step to be useful:

Create the site.
Connect Google integrations.
Add locations.
Once those setup steps are in place, move into reporting.

Where to go

Start from the Dashboard:

Dashboard Path
Use Quick Actions

Log in to SG-Dashboard, open Dashboard, then click Generate Report in Quick Actions.

Alternative Entry
Use the Getting Started sequence

You may also follow the Getting Started sequence from the Dashboard if that surface is guiding the next task.

Steps

Use the reporting flow after the supporting setup is already in place.

1
Open the report flow

Open Dashboard and click Generate Report from Quick Actions.

2
Follow the report-generation flow

Use the report flow presented for the account and site you are working on.

3
Confirm the supporting setup is correct

Make sure the correct site is in scope and that the required integrations and locations are already connected if the reporting flow depends on them.

4
Complete and review the result

Finish the report action, then review the resulting report output or reporting state in the dashboard.

What success looks like

The first reporting step is complete when the report flow finishes successfully and the account now has an initial reporting output tied to the configured site data.

What to do if it does not work

Use the correct response for the state you are in.

The report lacks the expected data

Check whether Google integrations are connected and whether the required locations have been added.

The site was created, but reporting is still thin

That usually indicates setup order, not site-creation failure. Complete integrations and locations first.

Next step

Once reporting is available, continue normal site operation and review the dashboard regularly.
