How to Add a Subscription or Site Capacity in SGEN

This procedure adds a subscription or adds another site under the billing flow so the account can provision an additional site.

Before you start

Use this procedure when either of these is true:

The account has no active subscription.
The account has no remaining site capacity.
You do not need to guess whether this applies. If SGEN blocks site creation and pushes you toward billing, capacity is the issue.

Where to go

You can start from either route below.

Route 1
Site Manager

Log in to SG-Dashboard, open Site Manager, then use Manage Subscription or + Add Site from the relevant card or capacity flow.

Route 2
Billing → Subscriptions

Log in to SG-Dashboard and open Billing → Subscriptions at dashboard.sgen.com/billing/subscriptions.

Steps

Use the billing flow to add the subscription state or capacity needed for another site.

1
Open Site Manager or Billing → Subscriptions

Start from the account area that exposes the current subscription and site-capacity state.

2
Review the current subscription and site usage

Check whether the issue is no active subscription or no remaining site capacity.

3
Choose the add-site or add-subscription flow

If another site is needed, choose the flow that adds another site under the subscription.

4
Review, confirm, and wait for success

Review the site-count change and updated monthly amount, then confirm the action using the control presented, such as Confirm & Add Site.

Confirmation
Success state appears

On success, confirm that SGEN shows a success message such as Site added to your subscription.

After Success
Return to site creation

Once capacity is added, return to the create-site flow and start site creation again.

What success looks like

Capacity is ready when:

The subscription shows the additional site capacity.
The success state confirms the site was added to the subscription.
Create New Site can now open the create modal instead of blocking the action.

What to do if it does not work

Use the correct response for the state you are in.

You still cannot create a site after adding capacity

Refresh the billing and Site Manager state, confirm the subscription is active and not just created, then retry the create-site flow.

You have no active subscription at all

Complete subscription setup first, then return to site creation.

Next step

Once capacity is available, move directly to How to Create a New Site in SGEN.
