Take a tour — learn the admin in about a minute
May 29, 2026. A new panel is a lot of doors and no map. SGEN's guided tour hands you the map: an eight-step walkthrough that shows a new admin where everything lives, in about a minute.
What changed
There's now a built-in product tour. It opens with a centered Welcome to SGEN step and walks through the dashboard and the key areas of the panel — eight steps, starting at 1 of 8.
How to start it
Three ways into the same tour:
Getting Started
under Take a guided tour, click Start the tour.
The help button
open the launcher in the bottom-right of any admin page and choose Take a tour.
Direct
add ?tour=1 to your dashboard URL.
How it behaves
It opens as a modal over your dashboard, so you keep your bearings — you're touring the real panel, not a separate screen.
Start tour
steps you forward through the eight steps.
Esc
skips or dismisses it any time — you're never trapped in it.
It's replayable. Finished it on day one and forgot where something was on day ten? Start it again from Getting Started or the help button.
Why this matters
Onboarding that's a wall of text gets skimmed and forgotten. A short, in-context tour shows you the actual panel you'll be using — and because it replays on demand, it doubles as a refresher long after your first login.
Part of a pair
The tour is one half of the help launcher. The other half — Ask the Help Bot — answers specific questions in a chat. Take the tour for the overview; ask the bot when you have a precise question.
