Ask the Help Bot — get answers without leaving the page
May 28, 2026. When you hit a question mid-task, the old move is to open a new tab, search the docs, and lose your place. SGEN puts help where the work is: a floating button in the bottom-right corner of every admin page opens the SGEN Help Assistant.
What changed
There's now a persistent help button on the admin chrome — every page, always in the same spot. Click it and you get exactly two choices:
open a chat and ask.
start the guided walkthrough of the admin.
How the Help Bot works
Choose Ask the Help Bot and the SGEN Help Assistant panel opens over your page — you don't navigate away. Inside:
- A short welcome and greeting.
- Suggested topics — clickable chips drawn from the area you're in, so the bot's first guesses are relevant to where you are.
- An "Ask a question..." box — type what you need in plain language and send it.
When you're done, close the panel with the X and the button collapses back to the corner.
Why this matters
Help that lives on a separate site is help you have to go find. A launcher on every page means the answer is one click from wherever you got stuck — and the suggested topics meet you in context instead of making you phrase the perfect search.
Part of a pair
The Help Bot is one half of the help launcher. The other half — Take a tour — walks a new admin through the panel end to end. Reach for the bot when you have a specific question; reach for the tour when you want the lay of the land.
Next steps
click the help button in the bottom-right of any admin page and choose Ask the Help Bot.
Start with Take a tour from the same button.
