Make the admin panel yours — Theme and Style

May 22, 2026. You spend real hours inside the admin panel. Now you can decide what it looks like while you're there. Two new controls in Site Settings → General set the panel's accent color and surface style.

What changed

The General tab gained two selects, sitting right alongside Site Title, Email, Timezone, and the rest:

Admin Theme

the accent color, with eight choices.

Style

the surface treatment, Flat or Glassy.

Pick what you want and Save Changes. The same save button that persists the rest of the General tab carries these along.

The eight themes

Default (Crimson), Amber, Emerald, Indigo, Ocean, Rose, Teal, and Violet. The accent runs through the panel — dashboard, sidebar, and controls.

Flat or Glassy

Flat

clean light surfaces, no effects. The straightforward look.

Glassy

dark glassmorphism, with a gradient and a soft glow. The same panel, dialed darker.

This is your panel, not your site

This setting changes how the admin panel looks to you — the place you work. It does not touch your public-facing site. Your visitors' theme lives in a separate place: Appearance → Themes. Changing your admin accent to Violet does nothing to what the world sees on your homepage.

Why this matters

It's a small thing that adds up. If you run multiple SGEN sites in multiple tabs, a different accent per panel is an instant way to know which site you're looking at. And if you'd rather work in a dark surface, Glassy is one select away.

Next steps

Set it

in Site Settings → General — choose an Admin Theme and a Style, then Save Changes.

Changing your public site's look instead?

That's Appearance → Themes, a different surface.
